Effective as at: 25 Sept 2026
These Terms of Service outline the terms that apply when you book and receive services from Get Your Mind Out Of The Clutter.
By booking a service, you agree to these terms, together with any specific arrangements, quotes or booking information provided to you.

Follow-up organising and maintenance sessions
Personal support and coaching sessions
The specific service, scope of work, location and estimated time will be discussed and agreed with you before your session.
Our services are tailored to your circumstances. We may recommend changing the order or scope of work where this would make the session safer, more practical or more effective.
2. What Our Services Don't Include
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, our services do not include:
General or specialist cleaning
Repairs or maintenance
Building, construction, electrical or plumbing work
Gardening or pest control
Removalist services
Valuation of belongings
Selling items on your behalf
Specialist disposal services
Where another specialist service is needed, we may recommend an appropriate third-party provider.
3. Your Belongings and Decisions
You remain the owner of and responsible for your belongings.
We will never intentionally dispose of, donate, sell or otherwise remove an item without your permission. You make the final decision about what happens to your belongings.
We can provide suggestions, ask questions and help you work through difficult decisions, but the final choice remains yours.
If you're unsure about something, we can create a “decide later” area so that no decision needs to be made immediately.
Once you have given permission for an item to be removed, donated, recycled, disposed of or otherwise transferred, you acknowledge that it may no longer be possible to recover it.
4. Valuables and Important Items
Please identify any items that are particularly valuable, sentimental, confidential or important before work begins.
This may include:
Cash and jewellery
Passports and identity documents
Financial or legal documents
Birth certificates
Photographs and irreplaceable items
Collectables
Prescription or medical items
Important business records
We will take reasonable care when handling your belongings, but you remain responsible for identifying items that require special care or should not be moved, sorted or discarded.
We do not provide valuations of antiques, collectables, jewellery or other potentially valuable items.
5. Donations, Recycling and Disposal
Where agreed, we can assist with preparing unwanted items for donation, recycling or disposal.
This may include bagging or boxing items, preparing them for collection or taking them to an agreed donation or disposal facility.
Any third-party costs, including rubbish removal, tip fees, specialist disposal, courier or delivery costs, are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
We cannot guarantee that a particular donation facility will accept an item.
6. Selling Items
Get Your Mind Out Of The Clutter does not routinely sell items on behalf of clients.
If we agree to assist with selling particular items, the arrangements will be discussed and agreed separately, including the items to be sold, selling method, pricing, fees and how proceeds will be handled.
No item will be sold without your prior approval.
7. Access and Working Environment
You agree to provide reasonable access to the areas where services are being provided.
Please let us know before your session about anything that may affect our ability to work safely, including:
Pets or animals
Children or other occupants
Restricted or unsafe areas
Structural problems
Mould or pest infestations
Hazardous substances
Sharp, heavy or unstable items
Significant water damage
Any other known hazards
The safety of you, your household and Get Your Mind Out Of The Clutter will always take priority.
We reserve the right to pause or stop a session if we reasonably believe the environment is unsafe or unsuitable for the work being undertaken.
8. Pets, Children and Other Occupants
Where reasonably necessary, children, pets and other occupants should be kept clear of the area in which work is being undertaken.
If someone or something materially interferes with the session or creates a safety concern, we may ask that they be moved away from the working area.
If the situation cannot be resolved and the session cannot safely continue, the session may be paused or ended and the applicable cancellation fee may apply.
9. Client Availability
If we have agreed that you do not need to remain at the property during a session, you must:
Provide clear instructions for accessing the property
Identify any areas or belongings requiring special consideration
Remain reasonably contactable by phone
Ensure we have appropriate authority to enter and work within the agreed areas
If we cannot access the property or contact you when decisions or instructions are required, the session may be unable to proceed and the applicable session or cancellation fee may apply.
10. Fees and Payment
Our current service fees are outlined on our website or will be confirmed with you before booking.
Packages, hourly services and workspace audit fees may differ depending on the service selected.
Any additional services, time or third-party expenses will be discussed with you before they are incurred wherever reasonably practicable.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the completion of your session.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
11. Cancellations and Rescheduling
I understand that plans can change, and I appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Our cancellation fees are:
More than 48 hours' notice: No cancellation fee.
Less than 48 hours' notice: 50% of the booked session fee.
Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% of the booked session fee.
A no-show includes situations where I attend the agreed property at the scheduled time but cannot commence the session because you are unavailable or access cannot be provided.
Cancellation or interruption during a session
If a session has commenced but cannot continue because of circumstances at the property that were not disclosed beforehand, and those circumstances prevent the agreed work from being completed or carried out safely, the same-day cancellation fee of 100% of the booked session fee may apply.
This may include undisclosed safety hazards, unsafe access, uncontrolled animals, significant disruption or other circumstances that materially prevent the work from being carried out safely and effectively.
Where reasonably practicable, we will discuss the situation with you before ending the session.
Cancellation fees will not be applied where prohibited by law and may be waived at my discretion in exceptional circumstances.
If Get Your Mind Out Of The Clutter needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and work with you to arrange another suitable time.
12. Late Arrival
Sessions are booked for a specific period of time.
If you arrive late, the session will generally finish at the originally agreed time and the full booked session fee remains payable.
If we mutually agree to extend the session and availability allows, additional time may be charged at the applicable hourly rate.
If I am running late, I will provide as much notice as reasonably practicable and, where appropriate, adjust the session time or fee.
13. Workspace Audits
Workspace Snapshot and Workspace Audit services provide practical observations and recommendations based on the workspace, information and circumstances available during the assessment.
Recommendations are intended to support improved organisation, workflow and efficiency. They are not professional advice in areas such as workplace safety, building compliance, financial management, legal matters or specialist business consulting.
Implementation of recommendations is not included unless specifically agreed and may be booked separately at the applicable service rate.
14. Personal Support and Coaching
Personal Support and Coaching sessions are intended to provide a supportive space to talk through life organisation, competing priorities, routines and practical challenges.
These sessions are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic or other professional healthcare services.
Where a matter falls outside the scope of my services, I may recommend that you seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.
15. Photos and Before-and-After Images
Before-and-after photographs can be useful for documenting progress and demonstrating the transformation of a space.
I will only use photographs of your home, workspace or belongings for marketing, social media, website, portfolio or promotional purposes with your permission.
Where photographs are taken, reasonable care will be taken to avoid including personal information, identifying documents or other sensitive information.
You can let me know at any time if you do not wish photographs to be used for promotional purposes.
16. Privacy and Confidentiality
I understand that working inside someone's home or workspace may involve seeing personal, private or confidential information.
I will treat information encountered during my work as confidential and will not intentionally disclose personal information to third parties except where:
You have given permission
Disclosure is required by law
Disclosure is reasonably necessary to provide an agreed service
Reasonable care will be taken when handling personal documents and belongings.
17. Existing Damage and Fragile Items
Please tell me about fragile, damaged or particularly delicate items before they are handled.
Reasonable care will be taken when working with your belongings. However, I am not responsible for damage arising from the pre-existing condition, inherent weakness or instability of an item where reasonable care has been taken.
18. Third-Party Services
I may recommend third-party services such as:

Donation collection
Storage

Auctioneers
Specialist trades or other services
Any third-party service is separate from Get Your Mind Out Of The Clutter and is subject to that provider's own terms and conditions.

I do not guarantee the availability, performance or outcome of third-party services.

You may request changes to the agreed scope of work during a session.
If a requested change is likely to affect the time or cost of the service, I will discuss this with you before proceeding wherever reasonably practicable.
I may also recommend changing the order or scope of work where doing so would make the session safer, more practical or more effective.
22. Ending an Ongoing Arrangement
Either party may end an ongoing arrangement by providing reasonable notice.
Any completed services and agreed expenses incurred up to the date the arrangement ends remain payable, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
23. Acceptance of These Terms
